Making new friends
by admin on November 17, 2011 in Gemma, Lyra with No CommentsLyra has now been introduced to all members of the pack, one at a time, and it has all been going well. Halfsisters Gem (4 years) and Lyra (13 weeks) spent a beautiful day together on the beach this weekend and Lyra showed that she’s definitely a Water-Mal – playing and having fun in and out of water. We still have warm weather here on the coast, not a snow cloud on the horizon. But this season it can change from one day to the next so we’re changing straw in all the dog houses tomorrow, making sure everything is all set up and ready for winter!

Welcome Lyra!
by admin on November 6, 2011 in Lyra with No CommentsWe have welcomed a new member to our family – Sledog Dream Leaper, aka “Lyra”, arrived from England in the beginning of November. We co-own Lyra with her breeders, Nicola Singh and Stuart Winterton of Sledog Kennels, and are very excited and grateful for this opportunity. A daughter of Mtn Home’s Spring In The Air, WLD, “Sunny”, and BPISS Sledog Forest Stream, “Aria”, Lyra is a half-sister to our Gemma, and related to our Titan through the Mountain Home, Oopik and Hyteton lines. Lyra is a bright and outgoing girl with a great personality. We will be updating her own page with more photos soon!

Back online
by admin on November 5, 2011 in Activities & Work, Nature with No CommentsHi everybody, our new website and blog are now up and running, hope you like it. We’ve had a break from the internet as we’ve been too busy carrying out work on our little farm this autumn. We’ve been clearing trees, putting up fences, constructing a new indoor run + outdoor playarea for Thunder and Leia, and more. Luckily winter is arriving late this year as we still have some work we want to complete before snow settles.
We had a beautiful summer in Nedre Bäck and also went on a WPDX-packing trip in Arctic Norway in August. You can see all pics from this northern adventure in our Gallery.
